From Survival to Success — and Now Helping Others Do the Same

I come from very humble beginnings.

Six years ago, my partner and I started what would become our most successful business venture to date. We were homeless, had two children, no money, and no certainty about what the future held. It was during COVID, and simply getting through each day was a challenge.

We worked whatever jobs we could find while building our business from the ground up. There were times we were fired from jobs because our focus was simply on earning enough to put food on the table while trying to create something better for our family.

I will never forget our first client. That moment changed the way I looked at business forever. It showed me what was possible when you were willing to back yourself, work hard and keep moving forward, even when the odds weren't in your favour.

Five years later, we had built a highly successful six-figure business. From the outside, it looked like we had made it. But behind the scenes, there was a problem.

It was still just my partner and me doing everything.

We were working more than 16 hours a day, seven days a week. The business was growing, but our freedom was disappearing. Eventually, we had to ask ourselves: "What's the point of building a successful business if it doesn't give us a better life?"

That was the turning point.

I decided to take the biggest risk of my life. I stepped back, restructured the business and put everything I had learned about business to the test.

Within just nine months, we transformed one home-based business into six high-performing companies, with the group already generating seven-figure revenue and continuing to grow.

Today, we have a team of more than 15 people, systems and structures that allow our businesses to operate without us being involved in everything, and something that was once unimaginable to us — the freedom to travel twice a year without having to shut down our businesses.

But perhaps the greatest thing I've gained isn't the money.

It's choice.

Choice over how I spend my time.
Choice to be present with my family.
Choice to pursue new opportunities.
Choice to work because I want to, not because I have to.
